Verification Policy

Trust is the whole product. Here is how we make sure every job on the board is real, safe and worth your time.

1 What We Stand For

Highly Remote was built to be a safe place to job hunt. Anyone who has looked for remote work in India knows the drill. Fake recruiters, multi level marketing pitches dressed up as work from home, and data entry offers that somehow need your money first.

So we drew a line. No third party recruiters, no staffing agencies, no middlemen posting on our board. Every listing points at the company actually doing the hiring, and that is the whole idea.

2 The No Agency Rule

Every listing follows one rule we call the direct link policy. Tap Apply on Highly Remote and you will never land on another job board or some generic inbox.

You will land on one of two places:

  • The company's own careers page (say, careers.swiggy.com).
  • The company's applicant tracking system, the likes of Greenhouse, Lever, Workday or BambooHR.

Your application goes straight to the hiring team, and your details stay with them.

3 How We Check a Job

Nothing goes live until a person has looked at it. Software helps us spot openings across the web, but the final yes always comes from a human on our side.

What we check, every time:

  • Is the company real? A registered business with a digital footprint we can trace.
  • Is the role real? Listed on the company's own channels, not just floating around somewhere.
  • Is it still open? A dead application link is as useless to you as a fake one.
  • Is it actually remote? The listing has to say remote, work from home, or distributed.

4 What We Turn Away

Some listings exist only to take money off job seekers. Those get blocked, and if one ever slips past us we pull it the moment we hear about it.

  • Pay to work offers: any role asking for a security deposit, a training fee or a registration charge.
  • Telegram and WhatsApp jobs: listings that want you to message a personal number right away.
  • MLM and pyramid setups: be your own boss pitches where the money comes from recruiting people, not doing work.
  • Vague typing work: high paying copy paste or form filling gigs, a shape that is almost always a scam.

5 Reporting a Listing

We aim for a spotless board, though companies do change their plans after we check them. A role gets filled, a description gets rewritten, a link quietly dies.

Found a broken link, a role that has closed, or something that breaks the rules above? Tell us and we will sort it.

Email us at hello@highlyremote.com with Report Job in the subject line. Every report gets looked at within 24 hours.
